Privacy Policy — Jam Out: Train Escape Puzzle
Effective date: October 28, 2026 (applies from app version 1.1.8; ads were added in 1.1.8)
Jam Out: Train Escape Puzzle ("Jam Out", the "App") is a puzzle game for iOS and Android built and operated by Bring Next LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This page explains what happens to information when you play it. It applies specifically to Jam Out — for our other apps, see our general Privacy Policy.
In short: Jam Out collects anonymous gameplay statistics so we can balance its puzzles, and from version 1.1.8 it shows ads from Google AdMob, which keep the game free. It does not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location. Google's ad services may use your device's advertising ID and approximate location to show and measure ads, as described below and only as your consent and device settings allow. Versions 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 collected no data at all; versions 1.1.0 to 1.1.7 collected the gameplay statistics but showed no ads.
Information We Collect
Jam Out has no accounts or sign-in, and the game has no text fields, so you cannot type anything into it that would be sent. The game plays offline: the information below is kept in a queue on your device and sent when your device is online. It is not linked to your identity.
Google Analytics for Firebase
We use Google Analytics for Firebase, a service of Google LLC, to understand how the game is played. It receives:
- identifiers created for this install of the App: a random app-instance identifier and a Firebase installation identifier; on iPhone and iPad, Google Analytics also uses Apple's identifier for vendor (IDFV), an identifier that is the same for all apps from one developer on your device. None of these is your advertising ID;
- device and app information: device model, operating system and version, language, app version;
- gameplay events: screens viewed, levels started and finished (with time, stars and hearts left), coins and gems earned and spent in the game, boosters and features used, settings changes;
- session information: when the App is first opened, when a session starts and how long it is used, and when the App or the operating system is updated (on Android, also when the App's data is cleared or the App is removed);
- on Android, the Google Play install referrer, which tells us which store page or link an install came from;
- an approximate location (such as country, region or city) that Google derives from your IP address; Google does not store the IP address itself.
Google Analytics does not use the advertising ID for these statistics, and ad personalization is switched off in Google Analytics. Its advertising storage and ad-user-data settings follow the consent you give for ads (see below). You can read how Google handles this data at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Ads (Google AdMob), from version 1.1.8
Jam Out shows ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC: videos you choose to watch for a reward (for example an extra heart, skipping a level or doubling a reward) and, from level 10, an occasional full-screen ad between levels. There are no banner ads. To show, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the App collects:
- device identifiers: the advertising ID (IDFA on iOS only if you allow tracking, the advertising ID on Android unless you have turned it off in your device settings) and, on iOS, the identifier for vendor (IDFV);
- advertising data: which ads were requested, shown and tapped, and their performance;
- device and app information (device model, operating system, language, app version) and diagnostics such as crash and performance data of the SDK;
- an approximate location derived from your IP address.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the App first asks for your consent with Google's consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) and requests personalized ads only if you agree; you can change your choice later. On iPhone and iPad the App may ask for permission to track (App Tracking Transparency), never when the App starts, only when you run out of hearts; if you do not allow it, the advertising ID is not shared and ads are not personalized based on tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device settings. Google's use of this data is described at How Google uses information for advertising and Google's Privacy Policy.
Our game statistics service
The App also sends the same gameplay events to our own statistics server so we can see which levels are too hard or too easy. Each request contains a random install identifier created when you first open the App, the platform, whether the copy is a test version, app and operating system versions, device model, device language, the time it was sent, the gameplay events (each with its time) and, when you leave the App, a summary of your in-game statistics (for example levels completed, stars, streaks, coins and gems, trains owned, play time). Our server derives your country from the request's IP address and does not store the IP address; it uses the IP address only briefly, in memory, to limit how many requests one device can send and to recognise Google's automated test devices (requests from the address ranges Google publishes for Firebase Test Lab, which tests every build uploaded to Google Play), so that they are left out of our statistics. Like any web service, our hosting provider may keep the IP address in its own short-lived network logs.
How We Use This Information
The gameplay statistics are used only to run and improve Jam Out: to balance levels and rewards, find problems and measure which features players use (including how often reward ads are offered and watched). We do not use them to target ads, we do not sell them, and we share it only with the service providers that process it for us: Google LLC for Firebase Analytics and Railway Corporation, which hosts our statistics server. These providers may process the information in the United States or other countries outside the one you live in.
Your Choices
The App has no setting that turns the statistics off. For ads, use the consent form (where shown), the App Tracking Transparency setting on iOS (Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking) or the ads settings on Android. Uninstalling the App stops all collection. Notifications and links are covered below.
Retention and Deletion
Google Analytics keeps user-level and event-level data for the retention period set in our Firebase project, at most 14 months; after that only aggregated reports remain. Our statistics server keeps gameplay statistics for as long as we need them to balance and improve the game, and we delete them when they are no longer needed.
Because the information is not linked to your identity, we cannot look it up by your name or email, and version 1.1.0 does not show its install identifier, so we cannot reliably find the statistics of one particular device. If you would like us to try, email us with your device model, the app version and the approximate date you installed the App, and we will delete any records we can match to it. A new install usually starts with a new random identifier; restoring your device from a backup can bring the previous one back.
Information Stored on Your Device
To save your game, the App keeps a small file on your device with your progress (levels completed, stars, coins and gems, trains and themes you own, streaks, and settings such as sound and vibration). The file itself never leaves your device through the App; only the statistics summary described above is sent. Deleting the App deletes this file. Your operating system's own backup (for example iCloud or Android Auto Backup) may include it; such backups are managed by Apple or Google under your account.
In-Game Currency
Coins and gems are earned by playing and can only be spent inside the App. Jam Out has no in-app purchases: nothing in the App can be bought with real money.
Notifications
If you allow it, the App schedules local reminders on your device (for example when a new daily puzzle is ready, your streak is about to end or a holiday event starts). They are created and delivered entirely on your device; no push service or server is involved. You can turn them off at any time in the App's settings or in your device settings.
Links to Other Websites
The settings screen can open our website (this policy, our terms and our contact page) and the app store page in your browser or store app, only when you tap them. Those pages are covered by their own policies.
Children's Privacy
Jam Out is designed for players aged 13 and over and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children; the anonymous statistics described above are the same for every player.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
If we change how the App handles information, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
